Explorer Information

Explorers is a mid-week group at St. Paul’s United Church for girls in grades 4 – 6. We meet Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 in the church basement, September to April.
The purpose of the Explorer is:
- to live each day with God’s love to guide her
- to grow each day exploring God’s world of wonder
- to give of herself each day for God has given her a life to live and share
Each week the group participates in a variety of activities from play to prayer, crafts to camp learning to be the best we can be guided by God’s love.
Our registration fee is $25.00 for the year. There may be occasional nights when the girls are asked to bring money for a special activity.
The Explorer uniform consists of a white blouse with an emblem and a red tie. New members receive their emblems and ties at their initiation. A navy or black skirt or slacks complete the uniform. Shoes or runners should be worn. New Explorers do not wear their uniform until the Initiation Ceremony.
This group and program are inter-denominational. Girls from all churches or girls who do not belong to a church are welcome. We are looking forward to a fun year of growing together.
