St. Paul's United Church seeks to demonstrate its interest and concern for over 400 households under its pastoral care. The minister is available for pastoral care to persons seeking counsel, experiencing grief, illness, distress, transition or loneliness. He visits at the hospital and 5 Seniors' lodges. Please notify the office, if you know someone is in hospital.
Communion at Home: is
available to church members unable to attend Sunday worship. If you wish
to request home communion for yourself a family member or a friend,
please call the church.
The Pastoral Care Visitors: A team of lay members visit in hospital and the Seniors' lodges.
Hospitality People: seek to make newcomers and guests feel welcome.
COMMUN-I-CARE: is our telephone ministry. Approximately three times per year members of this committee contact those members and adherents of St. Paul's who wish to maintain this pastoral care connection. This provides an opportunity to share news about yourself or your family, express concerns that need to be directed to appropriate staff, and to let you know of current events at St. Paul's. If you would like to have your name included on this list or you would like to participate in this ministry, please call the office at: 532-2415.
